'Make Your Own Hairspray'
The citrus oils are what create the "hold" and in this case will not be a crunchy-lock hold but what the toxic industry terms "flexible hold". So you might try an extra few spritzes more than you used with the toxic kind.   This recipe contains "ABSOLUTE"-ly no: Aerosol Propellants, Polyvinylpyrrolidone Plastic (PVP Copolymer), Formaldehyde or artificial fragrance.  In fact, you could use this as a hair spray before work and as a stress-relieving drink after!   Ha - suck it, Clairol!
