'Make Your Own Hairspray'
The citrus oils are what create the "hold" and in this case will not be a crunchy-lock hold but what the toxic industry terms "flexible hold". So you might try an extra few spritzes more than you used with the toxic kind.  Hypothetically, you could use this as a hair spray before work and as a stress-relieving drink after!  Ha - now there's something you can't do with commercial hair spray!  Hitherto, this recipe contains "ABSOLUTE"-LY no: Aerosol Propellants, Polyvinylpyrrolidone Plastic (PVP Copolymer), Formaldehyde or artificial fragrance.
