General Questions:
(1) What is Mr. Awesome Stuff all about?
Mr. Awesome Stuff is about rediscovering the power of simplicity. You might be curious about what toxins might be lurking in your cleaning and hygiene products. You might know and be searching for alternatives. Mr. Awesome Stuff is about a return to the simplest form of a personal care product that works, is affordable and doesn't mess with your health. ALL of these products can be made in your own home for a fraction of the cost of purchasing from anybody including Mr. Awesome! Many are not aware they have an option.

(2) Why the name 'Mr. Awesome'?
     It's a secret.

(3) Who makes your products?
We do!! Along with Liberty Belle! 100%.

(4) Do you ship items? Can I buy Mr. Awesome outside the farmer's markets?
We do. See the individual product pages. If you live local (within 5-10 miles of either Mr. Awesome or Liberty Belle), we offer a charge for home delivery or just come to a nearby farmer's market. You can also pre-pay on this site and pick up at a farmer's market.

(5) Can I learn how to make these products myself? Is it difficult?
You most certainly can. It is not difficult whatsoever. The only reason we sell products is because many people don't have the confidence, time or patience to make them. You can always buy one of our products to see how you like it and then try it yourself. The most important thing is that companies like Proctor and Gamble have their profit margin go directly into the swamp. Because they suck.

Product-Specific Questions:
Will your detergent work in High Efficiency washers?
Yep!! And you'll only need to use 2 tablespoons (1/8 cup) compared to regular washers (1 cup).

I don't see any suds. Is something wrong?
Not at all! Mr. Awesome's laundry detergent contains no Sodium Lauryl Sulfates (toxin), there are no artifical suds. The proof is in the end result: CLEAN!

The ingredients seem to be separating. Is that normal?
Yep! Just be sure to give the bottle a good shake or three and you are good to go! They separate sometimes because there are no chemicals to bind them. In the end the only expense for you is the one second it takes to shake the bottle before use.

I'm allergic to most commercial soaps. What's in your soap?
Very little! But what is in it are just four oils - olive, coconut, almond and castor oil. The castor oil gives a great lather. This soap is mild so you can also use it as a shampoo or for shaving!

It's hot out and my deodorant is starting to liquify! What's wrong??
Nothing - but coconut oil has a melting point of 72 degrees so be sure to put your Mr. Awesome deodorant in a cool, dry place. IF it does start to liquify, put it in your refridgerator for 2-3 minutes. Recently, Mr. Awesome and Liberty Belle began making all deodorants with beeswax that helps slow melting as it's melting point is higher - just make sure you aren't allergic to beeswax!

Also, while this is not as neat an application (if it matters), you can also take your deodorant, should it soften, and apply it with your fingers to your underarms. It works just the same! And of course, the proof is in the end result: long-lasting protection against odor without waxy build-up or stuffing your lymph nodes full of aluminum & propylene glycol (anti-freeze!). Mr. Awesome has gotten results that last over a day!
